A city of intensity points

Winding chimneys flank a sharp axis into the mountainous profile. A map receives the visitor to the “Barri dels Sequers”. People of all ages move through the “Parc del Riuet” to protect themselves from the summer sun. Inside the Centre d’Innovacio d’Arts i Oficis, a potter makes pieces with clay from the mine while an artist finishes a painting. Graphic designers, agrifood start-ups, and the occasional local entrepreneur work at a long table facing Oliva. You hear the murmur of those who have just left their children at school and sit down to have coffee at Bar Pepe. Who would say that only a few meters away are factories in operation!
